Overview
CareerPilot is a production-ready full-stack career platform built to help job seekers discover opportunities, manage applications, and improve their careers with AI.
The platform includes a public job board, personalized dashboards, role-based administration, AI-powered career guidance, and an intelligent cover letter generator powered by Google Gemini.
Beyond features, the project focuses on backend reliability and security. Authentication is powered by Better Auth with JWT-based authorization, protected API routes, secure callback validation, and role-based access control. The backend is built with Express 5 and MongoDB Atlas, while the frontend uses Next.js 16, TypeScript, and TanStack Query to deliver a fast, scalable user experience.
CareerPilot reflects how I build production software—prioritizing security, maintainability, and developer experience alongside user-facing functionality.

Built context-aware AI workflows with Google Gemini that maintain conversational context while validating structured responses with Zod.
Prevented open-redirect attacks by implementing strict callback URL validation and secure post-authentication navigation.

- Integrate ATS resume scoring with AI-powered resume optimization and personalized improvement suggestions.
